From athletes to everyday movers — we’ve got your back.

Who We Are

The Saskatchewan Athletic Therapists Association (SATA) is the trusted voice for Athletic Therapy in Saskatchewan. We exist to advocate for the profession, support Certified Athletic Therapists, and educate the public about the power of Athletic Therapy. While we are a voluntary organization, our mission is grounded in setting high standards for care, certification, and community connection.

We operate in alignment with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA), contributing to national efforts while focusing on the unique needs of our province. Through leadership, education, and innovation, we’re building a healthier, more informed Saskatchewan — one Certified Athletic Therapist, one patient, and one active lifestyle at a time.

Saskatchewan Lions Club Dayna Brons Entrance Scholarship

The Saskatchewan Lions Club Dayna Brons Entrance Scholarship was established by the Saskatchewan Athletic Therapists Association, in partnership with the HumboldtStrong Community Foundation, to honour the memory of Dayna Brons — a certified athletic therapist who passed away following the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy on April 6, 2018.

A native of Lake Lenore, SK, Dayna was known for her determination, perseverance, strong work ethic, patience, optimism, and deep passion for her profession. She was also a dedicated community member, selflessly volunteering her time to many causes.
